Driven to Determinato

Today's Gulfstream feature is a secondary allowance turf sprint for older horses going 5 furlongs and a skullbuster it is. What we have a various classes clashing together, horses with good recent form entered back on relatively short rest, and a number of absentees.

And that's where we landed. Determinato has back class, excellent back Equiform figures at the trip, and a half mile gate work at Calder that was faster than nearly 50 workers that week. Further, Bill White has had a couple of winners at the meet and Luis Saez is carrying his excellent Calder from over to Gulfstream with many horses outrunning their odds.

Taking Determinato to win at 7-2 or greater and key boxing him in exactas with aother distance specialist returnee, Fast Time (6-1) and the 'now' horse, Cajun Breeze (5-2).
