Flameaway on Fire for Kitten’s Joy

With five stakes on tap at Gulfstream today, we're opting for the Kitten's Joy for three-year-olds going 7-1/2 furlongs on firm turf. And we're curious to see if Flameaway (2-1) is as versatile as he appears.

He's won on the WO all-weather, took the G3 Bourbon off-turfer over a sloppy KEE surface and, for his turf debut, Mark Casse chose nothing less than the G1 BC Juvenile Turf.

He finished eighth, but was beaten less than 4 lengths after chasing the pace from a wide post at Del Mar. This is his reality check; a listed stakes while turning back with pole position. He's had four works in South Florida since; ready!

Taking Flameaway to win, no price restrictions, and key-boxing exactas with Pulpit winner Speed Franco (6-1) and impressive maiden graduate Power of Attorney (7-2).
