A Very Special New York-bred Filly

There’s a pretty exciting filly in today’s Ruthless Stakes at Aqueduct, a running New York-bred filly named Agave Kiss (5-2), trying open company for the first time. But I would let that dissuade her fans, not when she won both her starts by a combined 16 ¾ lengths.

The thing is she did it the right way. Her opening gambit was an extremely fast-for-the-class Compression Line followed up with a hot New Pace Top score in preliminary allowances. The connections think so much of her that she has remained under the late Carl Lizza’s Flying Zee Stable banner.

I can’t beat her at any price.

Taking Agave Kiss to win, no price restrictions, and keying her in super exotics with Dance To Bristol (6-1), Corderosa (8-1), Well Kept (5-1) and Perennial Song (7-2).

Running Totals: (1004) 309-202-142 Total Dollar Return: $2,130.70 [win selections only]
