He Can Run, Really
Today's Aqueduct feature offers an excellent chance for value. Not that Yo Koffy (5-2) isn't a worthy favorite; he is, with an excellnt figure debut score followed by a New Pace Top effort in his second start. But tae a look at He Can Run (6-1).
Well named, he earned the field's second best figure two starts back, a huge double top that affected him last time; that and a tough trip and he was still heading in the right direction at the finish. Shedding 6 pounds with tactical speed and kick, the switch to Junior Alvarado also augurs well.
Taking He Can Run to win at 3-1 or greater and key boxing him first and second with Yo Koffy and top-figure-last-out Deliburnsky, who must spot the other two four pounds.
