Macho Time
Today's Gulfstream Park feature is a good one, the Sunshine Millions Classic, featuring a reprise of last year's renewal in which Mucho Macho Man defeated Ron the Greek. There's no good reason to think that this pair will not complete the exacta again, in that order.
Mucho Macho Man has been campaigned wisely, if a bit frugally, that is if you believe $2.3 million in earnings is the result of frugality. The lion's share of that came as a result to his bias-hindered placing behind Fort Larned in the Classic last November at Santa Anita.
This youthful late developer races well when fresh, loves the Hallandale strip, and has been training up a storm. Don't expect to be calling your travel agent on the strength of this result.
Taking The Macho Man to win, no price restrictions, and keying him in the exacta with his rival here, and the fast-working and fresh Fort Loudon.
