Deja Vu All Over Again

There's nothing more dangerous in this limited winners affairs than returnees from layups that have added maturity since when last seen. Meet Street Thug (6-1), who returns attracting Castellano for Michelle Nevin, who saddled the returning Teaks North to victory in Saturday's Sunshine Millions Turf. Different dynamic; same result. Will appreciate the one-turn mile and raced well here last season.

Taking Street Thug to win at 4-1 or greater, key-boxing him in super-exotics with recent Todd maiden breaker but likely underlay Chee (5-2), Moon Traverler (4-1) who went well after the fact in recent return from a layoff, Kanagaroo (6-1), third off the layup for Albertrani, and Bartolome (6-1), who needed last and broke his maiden at this trip.
