Praetereo Set to Peak
The Gulfstream feature today goes as the fourth race, a secondary allowances for older males going a mile and a sixteenth.
It brings together an interesting mix of runners of which one, Praetereo (3-1), looks ready to deliver a lifetime best off paired performance figure efforts behind Mucho Macho Man and Adios Charlie in his most recent starts going a flat mile.
A two-turn maiden winner at nine furlongs here as a 3 year old, the recently turned 4 year old benefits from the second turn at slightly longer route. He returns to excellent spacing and Prado, aboard for his most recent win, takes the re-ride and figures to break through in this competitive spot.
Taking Praetereo to win at early line odds or greater and key boxing him in multiples with Endorsement (5-2) and Rocking Out (10-1), exiting the same key race.
Running Totals: (1016) 314-202-147 Total Dollar Return: $2,1572.20 [win selections only]
