Taking the Upside Has its Price

Today's sprint feature at Gulfstream is a tough puzzle but we're going to wager that South American 4YO Forze Mau (10-1), second in the Caribbean Sprint on U.S. debut, reverts to his south of the Equator form reuniting with Javier Castellano.

The knock is he's slow early but he's very fast late and there's a chance he'll get beneficial fractions and better spacing then he had in his second run here in which, like the first, rolled home too late. Interesting price shot.

Taking Forze Mau to win at 6-1 or greater, keying exacta boxes with Fast Friar (4-1) and Quinientos (12-1), and adding Rock and Fellers (9-5) to the exotics mix.

I was excited to read press releases about the coast to coast to coast Special Pick 4 on Saturday, coupling races from Aqueduct, Gulfstream and Santa Anita. Since the sequence begins with some of the worst maiden claimers on the grounds in New York, I refuse to play the wager. This time, I will not accept greed as proper motivation for boosting handle. So I'm having my private little boycott day. I like to play, but I won't BE played.
