Take Breen’s Horse, That’s No Lie
At first glance, the temptation was to try to upset the high profile Pants On Fire (5-2) with the sharp runner currently climbing the class leadder, Megamove (6-1). Then we looked at the weights.
Because it's been a while since Pants On Fire reached the winners' circle, the streaking upstart will carry 123 pounds as opposed to 'Fire's' 119. One might argue the pole position could be the trade-off, but we think not. The two runners have the best recent Equiform figures, although it will be interesting to see what classy returnees Alma Do"Oro and Duke Of Mischief have to say. Interesting feature.
We'll take Pants On Fire to win, no price restrictions, and an exacta box with Megamove.
