Does The Chief have another Giant Kill in him?
Today's feature is the Gulfstream Park Sprint Championship, a race in which Force Freeze (8-5) owns superior figures and an outside position from chute that gives rider Paco Lopez plenty of options. Nicely weighted and working great; looms most likely winner despite 7F inexperience.
But we'll try to turn back the clock here. Bold Warrior (5-1) earned a worthy figure on the Equiform scale at today’s distance at 3, his lifetime best, now returns at 4 with signature works for “The Chief.” Potential trip sitter from pole reuniting with Lezcano.
Taking Bold Warrior to win at 4-1 or greater, an exacta box with Force Freeze, and adding Capt. Candyman Can to the exotics mix. He might have lost a half-step but has done his best racing in extended sprints and on this strip.
