A Mere Fascination with Johnny White Roses

Interesting Gulfstream feature, a preliminary allowances for fillies and mares 4YO & up going 9 furlongs on turf, one boiling down to three major contenders: Antonia Autumn (5-1), Bold Kitten (3-1) and White Rose (5-2).

'Antonia' is coming off a sharp win in her recent GP debut for Christophe Clement in fast time with a pedigree that want's today's added furlong, and it's certainly tough going against a Team Ramsey/Maker/Castellano fresh face in Bold Kitten, coming off a string of brilliant works at Palm Meadows.

But we've had this thing for White Rose ever since she made that devastating very-late run to win at Saratoga last summer after having first proved herself over this course last winter. Fresh, with Bill Mott and Johnny at the controls, should appreciate the class relief she's getting here.

Taking White Rose to win at 2-1 or greater and key-boxing her first and second with her rivals above.
