Recency Rates Call in Gulfstream Feature
Today's featured fourth race at Gulfstream Park is a a secondary allowances/optional claiming at the hybrid distance of 7-1/2 furlongs. While there are two classy returnees, we're siding with recency in this spot and that the puzzle comes down to two contenders. In ourview, Simbamangu (3-1) is the best way to go.
The late developing 4-year-old has done his best racing in Hallandale, given his record and performance figures, he has trained up to this very well for Barclay Tagg and today's trip should be perfect with his style and demonstrated ability under similar conditions. Further, Tagg using Prado has been quite the ticket of late.
Taking Simbamangu to repeat off the Soft Win at 5-2 or greater, an exacta box with Golden Moka (6-1), coming in with a New Pace Top for Wolfson, and adding totw classy layups, Tech Fall (5-2) and the equally live Malibu Glow (4-1) to the exotics mix.
