Big Bad Cozette

Today’s Gulfstream Park feature is really a restricted stakes masquerading as a N2X at 6-1/2 furlongs for fillies and mares and handicappers can go in all different directions here.

There may be faster fillies (Jamaican Smoke, Calistoga) and potentially classier ones retuning as 4YOs but will opt for one that likely will get the right setup, from the right post.

Little Red Cozette has the right rider for the job and hails from a barn that’s profitable with LAY-3 runners and a lofty 24% going turf to dirt.

From his outside slip, Johnny V. can pressure the potential dueling speed and take command as he wishes, providing he has the right partner in the Orseno trained filly.

Taking Little Red Cozette, no price restrictions, and key-boxing her in exotic money positions with the two named above and Lucky Rag Doll from the oft-overlooked McBurney barn.
