Don’t Be a Wisenheimer, Take Wolfson’s Horse

With a choice of three features to choose from--identical high purses, we opted for the one with the greatest amount of starters--we're looking at the eighth-race optional-allowances for older horses going a flat mile.

And what a skullbuster it is. Four of the seven could easily win this. Well, there may be faster on the Equiform scale, or own class-filled PPs, but we'll take a horse that's been developing in a straightforward fashion--if Equiform patterns are the measure.

Following consecutive Pace Tops came a competitive figure Reversal to win his last by nearly a dozen. Wickersheim's (4-1) improved markedly for Marty Wolfson and has more than enough pedigree for the stretchout.

Taking Wickersheim to win at early line odds and keying him first and second in multiples with Fast Falcon (5-1), Ender Knieval (5-2) and Cross Traffic (9-5).
