Rock Out with Free Bird

Sometimes there's no choice other than to take what's offered. In this case, that would be Free as a Bird (2-1) in the secondary allowances/optional claiming feature for turf sprinters going 5 furlongs.

It was an excellent narrow-loss fast-finish season's debut from which he emerged with a solid work 10 days later and two sharp subsequent moves. HIs late run style is suited by today's speedy race shape and Prado takes a return call from Ian Wilkes.

Taking Free as a Bird to win, no price restrictions, and key-boxing in exactas with course loving Perfect Package (3-1) and talented returnee Spun Silky (8-1).
