Magical Season, Indeed

Today's featured sixth race at Keeneland is a secondary allowances/optional claiming for older horses sprinting 5-1/2 furlongs on the turf and it's difficut to get past recent winner Magical Season (3-1) who proved sharp enough to win his last on dirt even if turf seems to be his preferred surface.

As a 4YO he still has some upside for a barn having its usual strong meet and will find his versatility coming in handy with his rail draw, either stalking from close range or dropping back to make one run. Gelding is reunited with winning rider Rosie and it'suseful to note that he's 3-for-4 under today's conditions and 0-for-13 doing anything else.

Taking Magical Season to win, no price restrictions, and key him in multiples with Upsell (7-2) for barn that's 29% effictive with this kind of spacing, and Perregaux (4-1) who showed sharpness in recent dirt try and now returns to his best surface.
