Lopresti’s Success Story
Tried my hardest to beat the fastest horse on the Equiform scale, Successful Dan (8-5), in today's featured G3 Ben Ali at Keeneland. But fast figures notwithstanding, the rest of the data is compelling, too. He's 4-for-4 at Keeneland, wins fresh, for Lopresti, a man who is a profitable 27% in that scenario as well, and retains regular rider Julien Leparoux, in the midst of a very good meet.
Besides, Richard's Kid (5-2) appears to have a lost a step and Boisterous (3-1), for all his talent and connections [Shug], never has run on Polytrack.
Compelled to take Successful Dan, no price restrictions, and taking the slow but extremely sharp, surface loving Son of a General (20-1) to finish in the money.
