Oh, Henry

The filly division of the New York Stallion Stakes for 3-year-olds closes the Aqueduct spring meeting as racing shifts to Belmont Park Thursday.

The favorite Henry's Gal (2-1) will be a tough out, having improved markedly following the Rudy Rodriguez claim.

It's not so much that she holds as significant speed-figure edge but it's the fact that her best lifetime effort--that race--came at today's hybrid 6-1/2 furlong distance and over today's surface and most of the major competition are coming off layups. I cannot find an alternative.

Taking Henry's Gal to win, no price restrictions, and key-boxing in exactas with two of those returnees, Hey Kiddo (10-1) and Miss Narcissist (5-2).

Number of Selections since May, 2007: 1515

Number of Win-Place-Show Finishers: 463-290-232

Amount Wagered: $3,030 [to win only]

Total Dollar Return on Investment: $3,152.00

Profit to Date: $122.00
