Avoid Tap City with Taptowne

Today's featured eighth race at Churchill is an interesting two-turner and we've decided that the versatility of Taptowne (7-2) is what ultimately will separate this tight field in this highly competitive heat.

When last seen, Taptowne was setting a strong pace before settling for second behind the streaking Cyber Secret, a revelation of the recently concluded Oaklawn Park race meet. But as he's proven in the past, the gelded 5-year-old is very effective coming off the pace, he's sure to get position beneath Calvin and he's 1-for-2 over the ground and 3-for-6 at this trip.

Taking Taptowne to win at 2-1 or greater and boxing an exacta with Golden Gulch (7-2).
