Kharafa the Value in Ashley T. Cole

Two state-bred stakes headed by the Ashley T. Cole for older horses going 9 furlongs and a bunch of hard-hitters are they. What's interesting however is that only five would remain after the Main Track Only runners are declared is that getting value on Kharafa (4-1) is a good possibility, due to the presence of his archrival Lubash (2-1), and Lubash's new rival King Kreesa (9-5).

Kharafa is spotting Lubash three pounds as co-highweight with King Kreesa at 123, the latter showing no ill effects from his trip to Japan in his first start for David Donk. Kharafa's love of Belmont Park and his win at today's trip should get it done.

Taking Kharafa to win at 3-1 or greater and key-boxing exactas with his main rivals.

Sun Tracer to Make Amends at Kentucky Downs

We're travelling to Kentucky Downs for today's Grade 3 Kentucky Turf Cup at a mile and a half and the conditions are right for Sun Tracer (9-2), coming off extremely dull try, to pull off a minor upset.

A marathon specialist, he returns with two sharp works off a dull try after consecutive money finishes in graded company at this trip in Chicago. Third in this event last year following when trip-compromised, we're expecting a rebound effort from Chris Block runner who switches to his recent go-to turf ace, Florent Geroux.

Taking Sun Tracer to win at 4-1 or greater and key boxing in exactas with classy, albeit underachieving War Dancer and Shug's in-top-form Tricky Hat and adding O'Prado Ole to the super-exotics mix.

Number of Selections since 2007: 1610

Number of Win-Place-Show Finishers: 487-314-249

Amount Wagered: $3,220 [to win only]

House Rules

Today's Belmont feature is a very interesting turf allowances for some talented runners with potential. Could have gone in many directions but opted for a classy returnee from a long layup that has newly found maturity and is getting Lasix for the first time.

When last seen, Dancing House was finishing evenly after making a mid-race move in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. Prior to that, the Tapit filly was G3 placed on turf in the Miss Grillo and third in the G1 Spinaway behind Sweet Reason. She's been in steady training since late June and reunites with Irad Ortiz. Her late kick fits today's dynamics appropriately.

Taking Dancing House to win, no price restrictions, and key-boxing in exactas with the barn-changing and talented Zinzay and adding price shots Hobe Wins and Fade to Black to the super-exotics mix.

Number of Selections since 2007: 1609

Number of Win-Place-Show Finishers: 487-313-249

Amount Wagered: $3,218 [to win only]

Total Dollar Return on Investment: $3,301.80
