New York, New York in Friday Feature

State-breds figure to dominate today's featured eighth race at Belmont Park, an open NX2 optional claiming allowances for older horses going a mile. There is no escaping the reality of today's dynamics.

When last seen in action, Escapefromreality (3-1) was upsetting the Albany Stakes at Saratoga. But that's the good news: The gelded 4YO does his best racing when fresh for Dominic Schettino whose horses, for the most part, have come out running this meet.

But wait, there's more. His tactical speed and outside draw should best suit his race-shape advantage and allow Javier Castellano to play this one off the break.

Taking Escapefromreality to win at early-line odds or greater and key-boxing him in multiples with turf-to-dirt Beautyinthepulpit and the properly spotted North Ocean.
