Showcasing a Monmouth Shipper

Lots of stakes to choose from, so we'll take the one in its traditional penultimate placement on the card, the day's 9th race.

The Kingston is a one-mile event on the Widener turf course for males 3 & up and it offers an opportunity for value with Kharafa (6-1). Gelded 4YO finished very well late in prep for this, his season's debut. The move to an inside post and switch to Maragh augurs well for Tim Hills trainee that owns worthy (5) 2-2-0 record over the course.

Taking Kharafa to win at early line odds or greater, an exacta box with speedy King Kreesa (7-2), and adding sharp Street Game (4-1) and hard-hitting Lubash (9-5) to the exotics mix.
