Swift or Not, the Way to Bet Belmont 146

The following are my basic exotic wagers. Straight betting--can't believe the short price on Commanding Curve and absurdly long price on Samraat in the early wagering--will be determined closer to post time.

Wagering approach to Belmont 146::

Keying California Chrome and Commanding Curve first and second in multiple pools with all other listed runners.

Making a four-horse.exacta box including the top two plus Wicked Strong and Samraat.

Using Medal Count, Ride On Curlin and General A Rod third and fourth in trifectas and superfectas.

Win wagers will be price dependent.

For the running totals record, making two wagers in this historic event, a $2 cold exacta California Chrome over Commanding Curve.

Betting $2 on Commanding Curve to win at 10-1 or greater, a total of $4 plus or minus on daily running totals.

Number of Selections since 2007: 1542

Number of Win-Place-Show Finishers: 470-295-237

Amount Wagered: $3,084 [to win only]

Total Dollar Return on Investment: $3,182.20

Profit to Date: $98.20
