Dynamics Suit Sandy’z Slew

Today's Belmont feature is another turf sprint, this one for NX2/optional claiming state-breds sprinting 6 furlongs and a wide open dash at that. We could have gone in many directions but will settle on Sandy'z Slew (9-2).

The gelded 4YO appeared in need of his off-the-turf season's debut as he chased the pace throughout and stayed evenly for place vs. open company sprinters.

Returning to NYBs at his proper level, Rick Schosberg trainee has worked thrice for this, his last a sharp half-mile breeze. Hot-riding Cornelio takes the return call and appears to get along nicely with this guy and we're taking him to stalk and pounce for a barn that does very well going dirt to turf.

Taking Sandy'z Slew to win at 9-2 or greater and key-boxing exactas with hard-hitting old pro Ziptronic (6-1) and returning 4YO gelding Knockher Off (7-2).
