The Belles of Belmont

It appears that in today's Belmont feature for fillies and mares sprinting 7F on the turf that Linda Rice's hot roll will continue.

Clearly, Ballerina Belle (5-1) has all the tools. Fastest on performance figures, she ended her 3YO year with a strong mid-race move to win at 6F in very fast time.

On May 11, she started her season where she left off, a strong finish second after dropping far back early in her Widener debut, earning a figure that indicates she has made the transition from 3 to 4 in good order.

Given sufficient recovery time, Jose Ortiz can push whatever button he chooses from the filly's inside draw.

Taking Ballerina Belle to win at 3-1 or greater and key-boxing her in exactas with turnback Roses for Romney (4-1) and course/distance lover Lawless Miss (8-1). Also adding AE Weave (15-1) to the super-exotics mix if she draws in.
