Versatility Rules in Belmont Turf Feature

Today's Belmont feature is a turf sprint, the Gone Fishin' restricted stakes for 3YOs at 6 furlongs. Well, the team of Wesley Ward and Joel Rosario did well at Royal Ascot last week so why not here?

The gelded Skylander (5-1) has won on turf, has won at the trip, albeit on Polytrack, and is a winner of half his six starts. His best gift is his versatility. If left alone, he'll lead throughout, although he generally uses that gas as a tactical weapon before setting sail for the lead.

Taking Skylander to win at 3-1 or greater and boxing him in the exacta with classy favorite Weekend Holiday (2-1).

Number of Selections since May, 2007: 1341

Number of Win-Place-Show Finishers: 410-253-206

Amount Wagered: $2,682 [to win only]

Total Dollar Return on Investment: $2,813.40

Profit to Date: $131.40
