Not So Tiny Dancer

Today's Saratoga feature is the Grade 2 Lake George, a very competitive turf stakes for 3YO fillies at a mile and a sixteenth. The only conceivable issue is the weather, with late thunderstorms in the forecast as this is written.

When last seen at Belmont Park, Daring Dancer (3-1) was completely flat, never an issue at any point. But her races before at today's trip indicated she's a likely graded stakes winner to come; this looks like the right spot.

The speedy race shape suits her style, she has shown quality and courage to overcome trouble previously, and the slightly shorter trip should only strengthen her late kick.

Taking Daring Dancer to win at 5-2 or greater {on turf only]. and key-boxing exactas with stakes winning A Little Bit Sassy (5-2) and undefeated-on-turf Daring Kathy (6-1) and adding impressive maiden breaker Speed Seeker (8-1) to the super-exotics mix.
