Double Your Pleasure

Today's feature to commemorate the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies is as competitive a route for 3-year-old turf horses as you'll ever see; 7 out of the 8 entered for turf have a chance, to varying degrees, of course.

We'll take the two for one approach for various reasons, the most obvious being it's the perfect entry: A speed horse and a closer/ The speed horse Skyring comes into this off a Turf Decline after a competitive figure score in the Murphy at Pimloco Preakness day. For his part, Optoimizer, on the Triple Crown trail this spring, is again back on his preferred surface at the place where he broke his maiden in his debut at 2. He loves it here and is quite likely to prove it.

Taking the entry at 5-2 or greater, a larger price should one scratch of course--5-1 and 3-1 respectively. and key boxing them first and second with Daddy Nose Best (2-1), Csaba (4-1), Yari (7-2) Shakespeare Shaliyah (20-1) and 6-Quick Wit (8-1).

Running Totals: (1137) 349-220-171 Total Dollar Return: $2,403.30 [win selections only]
