Hogy (sic) Something Good to Eat

Today's featured Troy Stakes for 3YO and upward at 5-1/2 furlongs on the turf is an open event in which the outcome will be determined by pace and trip. Among those, the sharp Hogy (9-2) offers good value on the early line.

Much improved since Catalano's claim, he's a turf-sprint specialist (5) 3-1-0 that has come to hand as a late developing gelded 4YO. Drawn outside with a favorable style, a good trip seems beneath Rocco Jr. assured.

Taking Hogy to win at 3-1 or greater, boxing him in exacta with classy returnee Great Mills (5-2) and adding Varsity (4-1) to the exotics mix.
