Going for a Touchdown in the West Point

Today's West Point for older state-breds on the turf is always an interesting race. With a bit of handicapping capital for Hogy, we're going to reach out for price shot Hear the Footsteps (10-1)

Linda Rice trainee exits fast 7F turf sprint in Belmont finale, has shown some affinity for this surface, and holds a huge pace edge while also getting a favorable Racing Flow upgrade. This has been a new horse recently--beneath Jose Ortiz, who will need all his middle-move skills to time this one perfectly.

Taking Hear the Footsteps to win at 8-1 or greater and keying him in all money positions with Lubash (5-2) and Kharafa (3-1).

Number of Selections since May, 2007: 1371

Number of Win-Place-Show Finishers: 422-258-209

Amount Wagered: $2,742 [to win only]

Total Dollar Return on Investment: $2,885.20

Profit to Date: $143.20
