I’m Tellin’ Ya, She Needed the Race!

Today's feature is the Grade 2 Lake Placid for 3YO turf fillies at a mile and a sixteenth, a very competitive renewal with four of these grass specialists holding the best chances.

However, it's Tapicat (5-2) who peaks our interest because of her Spa debut in the Lake George, her first start since February at Tampa Bay. Third, beaten by less than a length, the effort impressed because the filly was taken out of her speed game and still might have won if she didn't need the effort.

Benefitting from the raace and today's added sixteenth, we're taking Tapicat to win at 8-5 or greater and keying her first and second in exactas with Watsdachances (2-1) and Concise (5-1).

Number of Win-Place-Show Finishers: 424-259-209

Amount Wagered: $2,748 [to win only]

Total Dollar Return on Investment: $2,890.70
