Nothing Fancy But Hopefully Smart

Madame Giry (5-2) showed her sharpness in her second start off a freshening which probably worked against her. She opened the lead but had little left to repel the stretch challenge to come.

Now she'll be making her third start off a layup for Cam Gambolati, a profitable scenario, and he's especially good in these non-graded events (profitable 31%). Moving outside and switching to hit riding Joe Rocco, she should be a bit more relaxed and should improve beneath her rider, who excels in stalking trips.

Taking Madame Giry to win at 2-1 or greater and key boxing her in exactas with My Jopia (5-1) and Sweet And Lovely (5-1).
