Crossing the Aisle for This Filly

Today's feature at Saratoga is the P.G. Johnson Stakes for 2-year-old fillies going long on the turf. Of several interesting youngsters, it's Partisan Politics (5-1) that looks the most interesting.

While still a maiden here, she's spotted well in this group after just missing in sprint debut over the course, doing all the dirty work by chasing the pace throughout, and held very well by missing breaking maiden by a neck.

She returns with excellent spacing, a long pedigree, and Chad's horses running very well of late. Javier's presence helps.

Taking Partisan Politics to win at 5-2 or greater and key-boxing first and second in exactas with Magnificent Margo (7-2) and Euro import Ancient Goddess (4-1).
