We’re Havin’ a Party

Today's Belmont Park feature is the G2 Gallant Bloom for fillies and mares sprinting 6-1/2 furlongs. Relatively speaking, the BC F & M Sprint should come up this tough. A bevy of speed beauties including an undefeated winner of five straight, a winner of four straight--each returning from layups, and the redoubtable early favorite, Dance To Bristol (2-1), winner of seven straight.

We believe that Holiday Soiree (4-1), a visually impressive Spa winner in her first start for Team Todd/Johnny, is worth an upset call. She was competitive in graded stakes pre- barn change, is returning with good spacing, and might have raised her game a notch since her private purchase.

Taking Holiday Soiree to win at 3-1 or greater, and key boxing in exactas with 'Bristol' and the McLaughlin-trained Godolphin entry (7-2).
