Do You Want Fries With This?

Today's Belmont Park feature, the restricted Voodoo Dancer Stakes, is for juvenile fillies at 7 furlongs on the Widener Turf which may or may need be looking to punch their ticket to the Breeders' Cup. Several have proven very precocious but the one that deserves the most respect is Coconut Shrimp.

Making her third lifetime start and first beneath Joel Rosario, she was spotted aggressively in a G2 stakes at Woodbine, the Natalma, and acquitted herself well. She was used early showing speed from post 10 of 14 in the one mile two-turner and held fairly well, sucumbing only in deep stretch. This spot, and the prevailing conditions, is the right place to make amends.

Taking Coconut Shrimp to win [on record for turf only] with no price restrictions, keying her in exactas with impressive Monmouth maiden breaker With Sugar On Top.

Running Totals: (1175) 365-226-177 Total Dollar Return: $2,494.20 [win selections only]
