Maker’s on the Mark at Keeneland

Today's Keeneland feature is the G3 Jessamine for juvenile fillies going 1-1/16 miles on turf and what an open scramble it is. We think six of the 13 entrants have a good chance for the major share but we've narrowed it down to Summer of Fun (6-1) and Always Kitten (7-2) and have settled on the latter.

Trainer Mike Maker and the Ramseys have gotten off to a flying start at the meet and in 'Kitten' hvave a filly that earned her best Equiform figure at today's distance in her Spa debut then shipped down to Shreveport to break maiden in the Happy Ticket Stakes while turning back to a mile. Has worked thrice since at CDT base and picks up Julien.

Taking Always Kitten to win at 3-1 or greater, an exacta box with Summer of Fun, and adding Sunset Time (6-1), Kitten's Point (5-1), Hedonemewrongsong (8-1) and Go Kitten Go (10-1) to the super-exotic mix.

Running Totals: (1179) 366-228-177 Total Dollar Return: $2,498.50 [win selections only]
