Like This One A Lot; No, Not That One…

As a race horse, we've always liked A Lot (2-1) a lot--going back to when he was under Bill Mott's care.

He's been in Chad Brown's barn for a while now but hasn't run in a while, either. Chad's great off the layup but away a year? At ML odds, must try to beat him.

Fire Away (5-1) looks like the most viable alternative. Not only does he have recency, he has a big conditioning edge--over the entire field, as he turns back from marathons to a one turn mile. Shug has been live this fall, especially with Johnny, today's partner. We're all in.

Taking Fire Away to win at 5-2 or greater and keying exotics box with A Lot, stablemate Tombelaine (9-5), and the fresh Ocean Knight (8-1), scratched earlier in the week for this.
