There are some damn good juveniles on display this afternoon at Aqueduct. Would you be surprised if I told you the two early line favorites are both trained by Todd Pletcher?
Darwin (1-1) is clearly the better of the two; signficantly faster while doing it the right way--an opening Compression Line. He will be a very tough out.
Now while Stormy Len (5-1) is not as fast on figures, he two distributed his energy very efficiently and broke his maiden at 7 furlongs, an eighth of a mile closer to today's Grade 2 Nashua one-mile finish line. Throwing in Ramon seals the deal.
Taking Stormy Len to win at 5-2 or greater and an exacta box with Darwin.
