Born in Overdrive
No matter how fast or classy, horses returning from extremely long layups at short odds are a very poor percentage play--not for the times they fail but simply in relation to risk v. reward. I might need to make an exception to that rule.
Overdriven (7-5), from Team Todd/Johnny, is not only an undefeated Grade 2 winner (Saratoga's Sanford) but it was done very, very impressively in very, very fast time on anybody's watch. He has all sorts of gas and the outside post in a relatively small field at this distance souln't suit any better.
Taking Overdriven to win, no price restrictions, and key-boxing in multiples with much improved Sage Valley (5-2) and Raging Daoust (12-1)
