Today's Chase The Dream Stakes features a small field of female state-bred milers going that distance around one turn and no filly, given pace and position dynamics, figures to benefit from that scenario more than Opus A (2-1).
Well positioned outside with tactical speed, Alan Garcia can either press oset the pace, playing it off the break. Trainer Violette is profitable when his runners return with this type of freshening. The five year-old mare should be set for her best go here; no excuses.
Taking Opus A to win, no price restrictions, and an exacta box with Beautiful But Blue (8-5), getting some class relief in this spot.
