A Star Is Born
One can onlyhope that troday's featured eighth race from the Big A remains on the turf as the ultra competitive field offers arare opportunity to value at fair odds. Any one of six fillies could win this: Settling Seas (7-2), Mystic City (3-1), One Last Dance (10-1), Alluring Power (12-1), Star Torina (5-1) and RaceTuUrga (2-1) It's the second-to-last miss that is really interesting.
Following a Delayed Turf Decline Line two back, the filly came back to show strong early speed on the main track subsequently--run right off her feet in a race that produced a next-out winner from two starters. Bill Mott pushing all the right buttons these days, and obviously has enjoyed great success this year when tapping Lezcano's services.
