It’s Frosty Season

Today's Big A feature is the 8th race, a secondary allowances/optional claiming for state-bred fillies and mares 3 & up going a flat mile.

If it weren't for the fact that What's the Frost (5-2) consistently is the fastest filly in this six-pack should be enough, Rudy Rodriguez is pushing every button correctly since this meet started, batting a lofty 33% at the meet (8-for-24), and those that aren't winning are completing seemingly every exacta or trifecta.

The problem is early line favorite She's Stones Sis (2-1) who has tactical speed and can hound Rudy Rod's filly throughout from an ideal position outside in the elongated sprint. Rosario is not likely to allow Cornelio Velasquez too far from his sight. In a rider's race, we need to go with the "best" filly.

Taking What's the Frost to win at 2-1 or greater and an exacta box with the favorite.
