This One’s For the Faithful
Think we'll try the value well one more time in today's featured G3 Fall Highweight. First let it be said that I forgive Poseidon Warrior's (8-5) disappointing effort at Santa Anita and I fully expect for him to rebound in this spot as he gets some class relief here.
But this is the kind of spot in which Rick Dutrow and This One's For Phil (5-1) excel; going three-quarters of a mile off a lengthy layoff. This is one talented speedster when he's on his game and we expect noting less than that here.
Taking This One's For Phil to win at 4-1 or greater and an exacta box with Spa G1 winner Poseidon's Warrior.
