The Truth Lies in Value

Guess we'll get as many turf races in at the Big A as the weather allows and today's feature is no exception; an interesting turf sprint for fillies and mares going six furlongs.

Truth in the Lies (2-1) is a worthy early line favorite for Jason Servis (2-1) in her present form, but we'll opt for the potential value offered on Carolina Shag (5-1).

Buffeted about throughout Keeneland's Buffalo Trace two back, her return was an even effort at Belmont which figures to set her up nicely for a return to top form here, a race that produced a next-out winner from two subsequent starters.

Taking Carolina Shag to win at 4-1 or greater and an exacta box with the favorite.
