Pricci's Free Daily Feature Race Analysis

Five days per week and every racing day during the Saratoga meet, John Pricci will provide horse racing selections of that day's feature race. When the racing schedule dictates otherwise, there will be analysis from other major thoroughbred Tracks. Check back here 5 days a week for free horse racing selections.

In addition to his race analysis, John will provide commentary in a weekly "On the Line" column and daily blogs under the "Pricci's Morning Line" banner.

Ready for Prime Time

Today's feature is the Queens County Handicap, formerly the last stakes of the NY season, and formerly a graded event. Now it's an overnighter and, in the spirit of the situation, we're going for a newcomer.

Jonesy Boy (8-1) is a late developing 4YO for a talented outfit that has been spotting this guy carefully, having won three of four starts around two turns. He's never been this far but his daddy had (a Jones named Smarty) and we're taking him to upset some old, familiar faces.

Taking Jonesy Boy to win at 5-1 or greater and an exacta box with class tested Percussion (2-1).

Number of Selections since May, 2007: 1439

Number of Win-Place-Show Finishers: 440-272-219

Amount Wagered: $2,880 [to win only]

Total Dollar Return on Investment: $2,999.70

Profit to Date: $119.70
