We Won’t Be Fooled, We’re Taking Deceived

Today's Big A feature is the re-scheduled Damon Runyon Stakes for 2YO colts and geldings going a two-turn mile and 70 yards on the winter track. Attracting the usual small field, it comes down to a match between two horses; Samraat (6-5) and Deceived (9-5).

The former is the fastest on performance figures, has excellent early speed and pole position. Deceived has more experience--two at longer distances than the favorite has ever run. The hope here is the Geaux Mets will put enough pace pressure on Samraat to set up Deceived's late run. We think he can.

Taking Deceived to win, no price restrictions, and an exacta box with the favorite.
