Looks Like Another ‘W’ for the Jacobson Mob

Today's Big A feature, the Lord of the Night Stakes, is for 3 year olds and up that have never won a stakes.

Of the six entrants, Praetereo (9-5) has been racing competitively with tougher stakes runners than he meets today. Further, record setter David Jacobson is 22% profitable when stretching out off two sprints, as he's doing here.

The most recent of those was a quickly run 6F over the surface, the only member of the group with the benefit of a recent race over the track. His outside slip in a small field insures a good trip and his running style should put him in this one throughout until stable regular David Cohen pushes the button.

Taking Praetereo to win, no price restrictions, and an exacta box with sharp, potential value runner Colleen's Sailor (5-1), who's shown dramatic figure improvement for Chris Englehart in his last two starts.
