Current Form vs. Development

It's the classic dilemma for handicappers.

On paper, Grade 2 third Robillard (5-2) is very well placed turning back vs. mostly allowance rivals. But My Cara Mia (7-2) is coming off a very sharp recent score over the course with sharp subsequent works for her return, so which way do we go?

We go with the rapidly developing favorite who is faster on performance figures and has made the kind of transition from 3 to 4 indicating that more forward progress is possible as soon as, well, today.

The presence of Kendrick Carmouche indicates that despite the likely faster pace, Kiaran McLaughlin wants his filly in the game from the start, the kind of dynamic that figures to be successful in this spot.

Taking Robillard to win, no price restrictions, and boxing her with potential value performer, My Cara Mia (7-2)

Class Does Matter

Queen of Castle (3-1) will either underscore or belie the class factor in today's Belmont turf feature as the starter group she defeated last out appear a bit saltier than she might meet here.

Yes, she draws wide, but at least it's the Widener, she's getting weight, is straight forward in figures and the bad draw might help the odds some.

Taking Queen of Castle to win at 5-2 or greater, key-boxing exactas with Sugar Mags (5-1), getting Johnny for Donk, and price shot Forever for Always (15-1).

Super-exotically, we'll include LAY-2 Saratoga Smoke (8-1) the returning, properly spotted Kitty Maddnes (4-1).
