Franco On the Sky at Big A

Back to normal, i.e., a turf sprint feature, although the novelty is a 6F trip on the Big A turf course. Try as I might, I can't beat the favorite, Grand Sky (2-1).

He's the fastest on many speed scales, is well drawn, comes from live connections, and Manny Franco should be able to work out a good, ground-saving trip. He has speed when you need it to make that possible, assuming a clean break.

Taking Grand Sky to win, no price restrictions, and key boxing exactas with Banana Thief (6-1) and The Crocheron Kid (12-1).

Committing to Broken Engagement

Considering it's a six-horse race for state-breds it poses some interesting questions.

Can the super sharp Fleet Irish (4-1) handle the rise in class and distance. Will dropdown Can You Diggit (9-5) lay over these on form?

Will go another way. Broken Engagement (2-1) nicely positioned, fits the sharp nicely, Rudy is hot and Paco is familiar with him. getting along with him along the time.

We're taking Broken Engagement to win at 2-1 or more and key box exactas with his rivals listed here.

Upset Worthy

Today's Big A feature is a division of the NY Stallion Series for 3YO fillies sprinting 7 furlongs. It's competitive on both talent levels and pace dynamics.

Having said that we'll take the distance specialist, the longer half of the Baker entry, who is well drawn outside and may benefit from a glow flow here.

Taking Riot Worthy (5-1) to win at 7-2 or greater and an exacta box with price shot Frosty Margarita (8-1).
