And the ones you know about probably will be beaten by one of the developing unknowns that jump up the best. Migraine city.
There are two fillies that appear set to move forward in this spot; one a Pletcher trainee, the other from the McLaughlin barn. Further, we’re talking Castellano and Velazquez, respectively.
How do you separate them? Sadly, you really can’t, so you opt for what’s known. And that leaves us with Sandy Key Gal (4-1).
This filly never has taken a backward step on turf and her latest figure was the best of its kind in today’s matchup. You just hope the short 19-day layup isn’t too much to overcome--today is her third start in 39 days. Hopefully, Paco can engineer a loose lead and they will leave her alone long enough so that she will have enough in reserve.
Taking Sandy Key Gal to win at 7-2 or greater and keying her in multiples with St Pancras (3-1), Almufasa (5-2) and Ten K Cat (8-1), coming off an Equiform Pace Low pattern.
Running Totals: (1012) 312-202-146 Total Dollar Return: $2,1563.80 [win selections only]

Simply love your disclaimer; it couldn’t be more accurate. Only 3 of the 9 are off my viable list. Therefore, and keep in mind that it is an extremely timid “therefore,” will have to advocate 7-Sign On Themoon second back from September, who is going in the right direction, and should be ignored by my fellow degenerates. Got to confessa, I like Contessa. Usually, when I give a speech regarding value, the favorites run 1-2-3, and I have to hide in the men’s room.
4-Almusafa (6.77)
6-Ten K Cat (6.96)
7-SIGN ON THEMOON (7.47)

Have one I think you can sink your teeth into in the 7th at Fairgrounds: 8-Tale Of The Dance. Despite the appearance of suffering from the “Jacque Who Syndrome,” believe today is the day, and although skeptical, the 9/2 morning line is inviting. Happy handicapping.

Didn’t have the time to check out FG. Good pick at GP; my horse was terrible.
