But there was little in her turf debut at Saratoga last summer indicating she was something special on that surface; consequently she’s worth trying to beat. Of the three fillies that might prove a viable option, it’s Glamour And Glory that has the best upset potential despite her wide draw.
In her five race career, the filly never has taken a backward step on either surface and her last on turf was excellent as she refused to be compromised by the slow pace. We wish the spacing were a bit more in her favor but we’ll overlook that as turf is less demanding than dirt and her outside draw always assuredly will allow her to offer value.
Taking Glamour And Glory to win at 9-2 or greater and keying her in multiples with the favorite, the interesting price shot Hearts of Red (10-1) and the late finishing EZPZ Lemon Squeeze (12-1).
